To contact your law firm on your behalf and to show you what they said. We include your name, your firm, your file number and your signed authorization in the messages we send to your firm, because a firm cannot act on an anonymous request.
When we telephone a law firm on your behalf, the call is placed by an automated assistant that identifies itself as calling for you. Calls may be recorded or transcribed so we can show you what was said. We do not call you with an automated assistant unless you ask us to.
We keep your case record while your case with us is open and for a period afterwards, because the authorization and the record of what we sent may need to be produced later. You can ask us to delete your account and we will, except where we are required to keep a record.
You can withdraw the authorization, pause the service, or close your case from your case page at any time. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by replying to any message we send.
This service is for adults. If a case involves a minor, the parent or guardian signs.
