One of your clients signed a written authorization asking us to request status updates on their behalf, and to pass your answers back to them. That is the entire reason we wrote to you.
A communication service, not a law firm, not a lien service, and not anybody's adversary. We do not practise law, we give no legal advice, and we have no interest in your case file beyond three questions your client would have asked themselves.
Yes, and you can confirm it without calling us. Every request carries a reference like PML-4KD9XQ and a link to the signed document, showing who signed it, when, from what IP address, and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the signed PDF. If a copy has been altered, the fingerprint stops matching.
One short reply. What stage the matter is at, what happens next and roughly when, and whether anything is needed from your client. A single line each is a complete answer, and it ends the follow ups immediately.
No. We are not paid by you and we are not paid to chase you, and we never suggest to a client that they should leave. If a client eventually asks us to introduce them to another firm, that is their decision, made after being unable to get an update for weeks. Answering our email is the simplest way for that conversation never to happen.
Reply to the email and tell us to stop, in any words you like. We mark the file that day, we stop contacting you about it, and we tell your client that you asked us to stop. We also stop the moment your client withdraws the authorization, and we write to tell you when they do.
Then tell us, and we will close the file immediately and preserve the record. We would rather hear that from you than have you ignore the request. Every signature is tied to a verified email address, a timestamp and an IP address, so a disputed one can be examined properly.
Enter the reference from any message we sent you. You will see who signed, when, and the document fingerprint. We deliberately do not show the contents of the document or your client's full contact details on that page.
Many firms would prefer these to land with a specific person or in a general inbox rather than with the handling attorney. Reply and tell us where, and we will use that address for every client of yours from then on.
